Aug 30- Feed the Ferry Crew

While playing around this morning with a cast net I caught a jumbo Jumping  Mullet and app 75lbs of Menhaden. Impressive, but a useless mess. A short time later, a 20" Red Drum found my bucktail. So as 4 hungry Ferry Crewmen stared at 2 "edible" fish, a plan was hatched. We were going to eat fish on Monday and we needed fish! A quick trip to Sherman's yielded bottom rigs, hooks, and sinkers. We also bought a 12 dollar bag of shrimp. Pretty shrimp. The kind of bait that turns a fish dinner into a Fish & Shrimp Combo! So, 2 hours later, Brandon, Bob, and I had caught a big mess of fish. We kept 7 Croakers, 5 Spot,  1 Sea Mullet, 2 Black Sea Bass, 5 Hogfish, and 1 Red Drum for lunch the next day. If Admiral Robert Hotchkiss will volunteer to cook!! Total Catch for the Day: 2 Red Drum up to 3 lbs, 5 Bluefish, 5 Spot, 7 Atlantic Croaker, 1 Northern Sea Mullet, 1 Southern Sea Mullet, 6 Black Sea Bass, 3 Rock Sea Bass, 3 Inshore Lizardfish, 3 Striped Sea Robin, 10 Hogfish, and 45 Pinfish
