March 23 Sightcasting to Red Drum

Mission Accomplished. Chris, Joe, and I found Giant Red Drum by the hundreds. It wasn't always easy. They were shifty. Boat pressure had them on the run. But we cast enough swimbaits and Bucktails at them to score 6 NC Citation Releases. We also found a few thousand slot Red Drum but we didn't get to that party fast enough. I honestly could've thrown my cast net and caught 100, but we couldn't get a bite out a few thousand panicky Red Drum.. That's all we saw except for a few 100 lb Sharks. No Bluefish and no Albacore was disappointing.. Total Catch for the Day: 6 Red Drum up to 46"
