April 18 Scouting for Fish
Poor weather is bearing down on us and I've got some serious fishing ahead...... Therefore, I spent this beautiful morning looking to catch some bottom fish inside the Inlet. Not sure if I found anything good? Just as importantly, I may have figured out a couple of places that I can eliminate from my decision process. I did not find any Sea Mullets or Blowtoads. They are always the "targeted species" in Spring when we are bottom fishing. I did find lots of action, just that none of the fish were "keepers".... Total Catch for the Day: 20 small Gray Trout, 12 small Bluefish, 4 small Hogfish, and 1 Summer Flounder at 13"
