From the moment my crewmate Lee said, "I love those little baby
Flounder fried whole", I knew that my task was collect enough
Flounders for us to cook for lunch.... As the word spread throughout the crew, more guys wanted "in on our little plan"...... So I needed more
Flounder. Tonight (friday) we decided that I had collected enough (supplemented by 8
Jumping Mullet fillets) to move forward with our plan. So, at 1130am tomorrow, we shall have our lunch of fried
"whole baby Flounder", red beans, and corn bread.....
College Football and Fried Dabs. Life is still pretty damn good!
Now that its over, the fried whole
Flounder and the fried
Mullet strips were killer. Lee cooked on a Trawler for years....
Great spawning grounds for Fry Daddies. Always has been, always will be.
Food is important for morale on boats and constant access to the freshest seafoods.... I'll take a Shipboard Cook over a Culinary School Grad any day for some cooking tasks....
Southern Fried Seafood!
Collect enough
Flounder to feed 5 men.....
Mission Accomplished
