FISH OHIO PINS

Weird...... Today while cooking Walleye fillets for our supper I took a break and went to the mailbox. Inside was my 2015 FISH OHIO PIN. This is basically the Ohio equivalent to a North Carolina Fishing Citation. I qualified for a 2015 Pin on both July 9 and July 10 with large Walleye from Lake Erie. The Walleye are delicious and getting a "Fishing Award" in the mail is always fun!

Yes.... Totally. All I did was reel them in! I'm pretty proud of the fact that all of my NC citations except 2 came from 100% my efforts... The other two came from being the "lucky man up" on a Charter Boat....

But, yes in fact 100% OF my Fish Ohio Pins came from the efforts of Tom!

Tom. I am thinking hard about driving up to NY around Halloween to catch the Salmon run and resulting Steelhead/Brown Trout feeding orgy... Do you have any knowledge and ideas you can pass on concerning this fishery? Taking off on a wing and a prayer are a little scary. I mean, I'd hate to turn up dead because I parked in the wrong place!

Looking for some insight???

Also, be thinking about how you can help me conquer some new FISHES.... Musky, Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Northern Pike are all at the top of my list..

Also looking for career bests on Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead will work!), and Smallmouth Bass

I would tell you to give the Walleye a break..... But then I cooked some monday before heading back to work..... Scratch that thought! Without a doubt, THE BEST EATING FISH EVER and ITS NOT EVEN DEBATABLE......

Marty. Let me check around with some friends and see what I can come up with for you.
I'll do my best to help you achieve your angling goals !!! (I'll email you some articles to whet your appetite!!)
I'm pretty sure I can make the Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass happen !!! A 2 week trip would really be needed, but I know you probably can't do that, so we'll do what we can.
Walleye is slowing down for now, until the water cools down, then a STRONG fall crankbait trolling bite starts down on the west end of Lake Erie!!

I'll keep you posted brother....
