Black Sea Bass seem to be stacked up on all structure. Spawning Time???

Fighting Bonito

Getting close.... Great Fight for its size!

If these guys weighed 50 pounds, they would be the Greatest Fish in the Ocean

Capt Marty with a Nice Bonito

Rhino crushes another Bonnie

Just my luck.... Ringtail from Hell

When the Limit is One, make it Count

Nice Catch by 930am.......
Back at the Dock at 930am with 4 Bonito and a 3 lb Gray Trout so I guess we can call it good fishing! Really the same old story, a  Bluefish, a Gray Trout, a Black Sea Bass, or a Atlantic Bonito on nearly every cast/drop. The Bonito were the headliners, of course. What a great fish. The Bluefish were everywhere.....1000's of them. It was hard " not to catch" one of them. We searched galliantly for the Blackfin Tuna. It was useless.... For 2015, they are GONE. we had our shot and we blew it.... Sorry to those expecting a miracle... Next up: The Cobia! Total Catch for the Day: 4 Atlantic Bonito 4-6 lbs, a 3 lb Gray Trout, 35 Bluefish up to 2 lbs, 14 Black Sea Bass up to 12", 1 Spottail Pinfish, 2 Pinfish, and 3 Hogfish

Were these fish busting on the surface?

The Bonito are definitely busting on the surface. Not as steady or as often as in years gone by... The past few days in the morning anyway. It seems like the high structures on the AR's aren't holding bait good right now. That has everything to do with the Bonitos "busting on top". They are there though, slowly revolving around the reefs waiting for opportunities. Blind casting is paying off, but my shoulder is aching!
