Aug 26 Poor Fishing Today
Pretty Bait. Nice Flood Tide. Clear Water. Late August. That is the perfect recipe for a small scale Red Drum and Flounder killing in Taylor's Creek. However, in two hours of fishing all I produced was 4 Inshore Lizardfish and 1 Black Sea Bass. On a positive note, 2 of the Lizardfish were nice ones. Taylor's Creek is over run with very aggressive schools of small Pinfish. They were killing my finger Mullets pretty quickly. I might trap a few dozen tommorrow just to teach them a lesson. Also, looks like a good chance for rain the next couple of days. It will be interesting to see how it affects our fishing.
