NC Citation Milestone Ahead

Capt Marty will reach a personal angling milestone very soon.

My next NC Saltwater Fishing Citation will be the 800th of my Fishing Career.

What started on June 24, 1988 with a 66 lb Amberjack has became a hobby, a quest, and a way of life..... I'm hoping #800 will be a 18 lb Bluefish on a top water plug, but odds are that it will be a Cobia... Looking at it that way, I really don't have much to complain about, do I?

Strangely, a 33" Cobia released is worth a Citation???? I never counted those. I always went by 40 pounders... My God, I've missed dozens and dozens of Cobia Release Citations! Oh well. Thanks to expert gaffsmanship yesterday.... Count me in on a release citation. I swear I saw a 30 pounder 8 feet out of the water on a steel pole that twisted out and de-hooked the Bucktail and flung the Cobia out to Sea as a poor old man took his cussing for getting too close... Holy shit, the amazing thing was that Capt Marty never said a word!!!!!

You can write that down in your book that I lost a fish off a gaff. You and I have been pretty tight fishing together since 2009 and that I believe was a first for me. Please forgive me for my language and you saw my killer face yesterday. Untill then, We must kill them all!

Twell!

It's ok T-doochie. You have outstanding credentials in every walk of life. You lost a fish of a gaff. So what, you'll never run the galley on the Capt Stacy either. Doughboy you ain't... Haha. Now, if you lose my 50# Striped Bass, you've had it....
