June 28 World's Worst Catfishermen
Chris and I do it once a year. Go to the Neuse River and go Catfishing...... Everyone says its SO EASY..... Well, lets see, I caught my last one in 2006. Jeez. There is something missing in our PLAN OF ATTACK and our Vault of Positive Experiences that added together SHOULD BUILD OUR CONFIDENCE and ADD to OUR EXPERIENCE that will eventually MAKE US BETTER CATFISHERMEN...... We seem to have hit a Road Block.... As a matter of fact, we have NO POSITIVE INFO to process.... Ha Ha. Last night, in our defense, there was a large line of storms approaching so we left the Boat in Beaufort. Fishing from various spots along the Northern Shoreline of the Neuse River.... We got one bite at Maple Cypress and had a 50 lb Snapping Turtle bite through my 80# leader just as I slid him up on the Boat Ramp. Call of the Wildman. Ye Ye Ye Yap Yap. Damn...... Total Catch for the Night: NOTHING
